CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS

In collaboration with the Palm Springs Art Museum, The Laurel Foundation is inviting submissions for a special art exhibition and sale benefiting our programs. The show, Self Portrait: This is Me, will be featured at the Palm Springs Art Museum on December 6, 2025, during The Leslies’ Annual Toy Drive & Fundraiser. We invite campers who wish to participate to create a self-portrait on a 9″ x 12″ canvas using any medium of their choice, accompanied by a one-paragraph description of the piece. Completed works must be submitted to The Laurel Foundation office (see mailing address below) by October 31, 2025, to be included in the show and to be put up for sale to benefit The Laurel Foundation.*

This is an incredible opportunity for camper artists to have their work exhibited at one of the most prominent art museums in the United States and to help support The Laurel Foundation. Selected works will also be showcased as part of the museum’s Q+ Art Initiative, which celebrates and amplifies LGBTQ+ voices through dynamic exhibitions and programming that highlight inclusion, visibility, and self-expression.
