• Family 2024: September 6-8, 2024

  We are excited to launch our much anticipated inaugural Camp Mulberry Family Camp! The program is over a three-day weekend and will focus on building community among families and providing a time for fun, connection, and support. For more information please CLICK HERE.

• Summer Camp 2024: June 23-June 29th

  We are continuously monitoring the situation with COVID-19 and are adapting our policies in accordance with the American Camp Association and local/federal guidelines. We ask that parents and campers remain flexible as we make adjustments to our policies. Currently, campers can expect to remain in cabin groups of 6-8 campers and 2 counselors during all activities. Counselors and campers 12+ are required to be vaccinated in order to volunteer and attend Camp Mulberry. Additionally, we will need parents to drive youth to camp as buses are not a safe option at the moment. Thanks to generous donors, we will have hand sanitizer, cleaning supplies, and masks readily available for campers and counselors.   The Laurel Foundation’s Camp Mulberry is the nation’s first cost-free resident camp program specifically for transgender and gender-diverse youth, ages 6-17. This camp is an amazing experience for youth looking for a safe space to be their most authentic selves, create a life-long peer support group, and enjoy traditional outdoor camp experiences – such as kayaking, rock climbing, archery, and more! Our volunteer counselors are fully vetted and trained transgender/gender-diverse adults who will serve as mentors for our youth. We will also have social workers and registered nurses present at camp. Campers are placed in cabin groups based on gender identity and age. Summer Camp will be a week-long, residential experience in Southern California. Youth from around the country are invited to attend! Camp Health Management

  Campers are required to have a physical and TB test within a year from June 29 as well as up-to-date vaccinations.
